Centre of operations for Ontario Contact in 2011 will be at the lovely Charles W. Stockey Centre for the Performing Arts & Bobby Orr Hall of Fame.

The Centre was built for the Festival of Sound. Wonderful acoustics and a beautiful venue. The Performance Hall hs 480 stas and features three levels. The building was designed to have the appearance and atmosphere of a Georgian Bay cottage. Granite and pine beams from the indigenous trees add a special intimacy to the interior of the hall.

The building features heavy timber framing, the timber trusses and wood decking are an essential acoustical requirement - providing both the slightly textured surfaces for good sound reflection, and a visually warm appearance much favoured by artists and audiences.

Ontario Contact has made arrangements at several hotels this year. None are considered the base hotel for the conference so we invite you to find one that best meets your needs.
